Ubiwalker support

A problem with the app, a question or something to report? Here is how to reach us, and the answers to the most common requests.

Contact us

Write to info@pixycap.com. We normally reply within two working days.

You can also write to us from the app, which is the quickest way because the request already carries your app version and account details:

  1. tap your avatar at the top left of the Home screen to open the menu;
  2. choose Support;
  3. write your message and send it.

If you are reporting a technical problem, tell us your phone model and the app version. You will find it at the bottom of the menu, in the form v1.0 r130.

Managing your account

Deleting your account

  1. open the menu and choose Profile;
  2. tap the three dots (⋮) next to your name, choose Delete profile and confirm.

The request goes to the Ubiwalker curator: once processed, your profile and all related content are permanently deleted. You have 30 days to change your mind — within that period you can reactivate the account simply by signing in again. After 30 days the deletion cannot be undone.

No longer have the app? You can also request deletion by email: all the details, including what is deleted and how long it takes, are on the Delete your account page.

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen tap Forgot your password? and enter your email: you will receive a link to set a new one.

I did not receive the verification email

You need to confirm your email address before you can sign in. If the message does not arrive, check your spam folder — that is where it usually ends up. Trying to sign in sends you a new one. If it still does not arrive, write to info@pixycap.com quoting the address you registered with.

Changing the language

The app follows your phone's language. You can set a different one for Ubiwalker alone from the menu, under Profile. The available languages are Italian, English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil).

Content and behaviour

Reporting content

  1. open the post;
  2. tap the three-dot menu at the top right;
  3. choose Report, pick a reason and send.

Every report reaches the curator, who reviews it and acts on the content when needed.

Blocking a user

You can block someone from their public profile, or from the three-dot menu on one of their posts. From that moment you no longer see their content in the feed and receive no notifications from them; any following relationship is broken in both directions.

The list of blocked people is in the menu, under Blocked users: you can unblock them there whenever you want.

Why is my post awaiting approval

Published posts go through a review before they appear in the public feed. You will find them in the menu, under My posts, with the status shown beneath each one: Submitted, Approved or Rejected. If a post is rejected you receive a message with the reason.

Third-party content and YouTube

Anyone publishing content they do not own the rights to must respect our privacy policy and the applicable licence terms. The rules on third-party content are in the Content policy section of the app menu.
